“Pinksdrev” to pay wages in sofas

The management of “Adriana Plus” enterprise, which was a part of furniture holding “Pinskdrev” has offered its workers to receive half of their pay in sofas or couches.

Posters with such a proposal were placed near the factory’s checkpoint. “European Radio for Belarus” informs.

When workers started to ask questions, they were hinted about their labour contracts which could be broken any moment. Thus, the leadership is trying to find working capital and clear overstocked warehouses.

The largest furniture producer of Belarus, holding “Pinskdrev” holding company has been seriously affected by the economic crisis. Export of products to Russia, which previously was equal to about 80% of export, has considerably dwindled.
