Ministry Of Defense Scared By Collection Of Signatures For Resignation Of Raukou?

The website zvarot.by, where Belarusians signed for the resignation of the Belarusian Minister of Defense, has been blocked.

Activist of the REP independent trade union Andrei Stryzhak, one of the authors of the petition “Stop lawlessness in army — protest against hazing!”, has posted this on Facebook.

— Apparently, this is the “official” reaction of the Ministry of Defense to our petition, which has already gathered 4 000 signatures.

All four thousand signatures were forwarded directly to the mailbox of the Ministry of Defense, after which our hoster received a complaint that a spam-attack on the Ministry’s mailbox had been recorded from zvarot.by.

The person who submitted the complaint obviously thinks that our petitions are annoying spam, which can be disregarded.

No, you cannot disregard us, as after the access to the website is restored, we will continue collecting signatures, this time under a collective petition.

The hoster does not provide information who complained about the spam-attack, but the letters with our signatures had been sent nowhere but to the Ministry of Defense,” — Andrei Stryzhak wrote.
