Uladzimir Katsora: I Was Sure That Lots Of People Would Take To Streets In Homel After Minsk Rally

Thousands of Homel residents came to the square to express their disagreement with Decree No. 3 the very same day the year before.

A year ago, on February 19, 2017, one of the most massive rallies against Decree No. 3 "On social dependency" was held in Homel. Homel residents went to the city center with banners and white-red-white flags to express disagreement with the odious decree, Radio Racyja recalls.

According to one of the rally organizers Uladzimir Katsora, he predicted that a lot of people would come to the rally.

– When on February 17 the rally was held in Minsk, and although there were not so many people, about 2 thousand, but as we know, they were not dispersed, so there was already the confidence that the rally in Homel would be held too, – Uladzimir Katsora recalls.
