Brest Citizens: We Ask Everyone To Support Us

Brest residents collect signatures under the demand to dismiss the leadership of the city, district and region.

A group of citizens initiated the collection of signatures with a demand to remove the leadership of Brest district, region and the city of Brest from their posts, Radio Racyja reports.

Thus, they impeach credit of the authorities, which are building a harmful battery plant near the city's borders. The campaign for collecting signatures was announced by Dzmitry Biakaliuk at a special press conference held by opponents of the plant construction:

– We ask not the indifferent people to support us and put their signatures under our appeal to Lukashenka demanding to dismiss the leadership of the city, district and region in connection with the loss of public trust.
