Pavel Seviarynets: It Is Already Clear That Defense Of Kurapaty Bring Results

The politician has spoken about the next steps of the activists to defend Kurapaty.

The watch near the Let’s Go Get Some Eats restaurant will be continued – Belarusian Christian Democracy party head Pavel Seviarynets says, racyja.com reports.

This entertainment complex was opened in the former protection zone of the memorial to victims of Stalinist repression in Kurapaty more than 3 months ago.

According to Seviarynets, the watch at the restaurant, which has been on since its opening, has brought its result – the national boycott is taking place. Very few people visit this establishment.

– It's clear that fewer people come to eat there. Less food is delivered. We keep track of it. But our goal is that the place is not visited at all, this restaurant must be closed. We have decided that at least until Dziady, we will continue the watch in the existing format. We will not cut back even for a single day: it the restaurant still works – the watch must be there. Next week, on Monday at 12 o'clock, we will hold a press conference about the boycott of the Let’s Go Get Some Eats restaurant in Kurapaty. And next week, we will send over an appeal addressed to Rumas to the Council of Ministers. Also, the defenders of Kurapaty plan to go round the apartment buildings in Mirashnichenka street, which are next to Kurapaty, and to encourage their residents to join the watch near the Let’s Go Get Some Eats restaurant, – Pavel Seviarynets says.
