Shunevich: Russian Policemen To Work At European Games In Minsk

Russian law enforcers will be involved in the upcoming major sporting events in Belarus. This has been announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Igor Shunevich at a press conference today, BelTA correspondents reports.

"Russian colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs are delegating their employees to work during the Second European Games and the World Hockey Championship, which, undoubtedly, will increase the effectiveness of measures taken to ensure public order," – Ihar Shunevich emphasizes.

He also notes that it is planned to involve law enforcement officers from some other countries.
