Russian Pop Stars Show Up At Lukashenka’s Corporate Party

On January 11, Lukashenka held a traditional reception dedicated to the old New Year celebration, at the national exhibition center “BelExpo”. Among the guests there were ministers, Belarusian and foreign pop stars, athletes, and businessmen, writes tut.by.

Stas Mikhailov, Nikolai Baskov, Taisiya Povaliy and Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Aliaksandr Saladukha, Ina Afanasyeva, Iskui Abalyan-Barouskaya, Victoria Aleshko, Alena Lanskaya, Anastasia Tsikhanovich, and Tiani Tolkai band performed there.

Aliaksandr Saladukha was invited to the reception for the fourth time. In the prologue of the program, he sang with Victoria Aleshko the song “The snow is spinning round”.

- It was a white dance. An the concert and dance program, I sang my three greatest hits: "Grapes", "We will be together" and "Hello, someone else's dear."

He said that Stas Mikhailov sang ten songs at the reception, the same as Nikolai Baskov.

- It was a super mega party, - Aliaksandr Saladukha said.

Iskui Abalyan-Barouskaya was awarded the honorary title of the Honored Artist of Belarus at the event.

Gymnast Liubov Cherkashina said the athletes who showed up at the event were biathlete Darya Domrachava, canoeists Volha Khudenka, Maryna Litvinchuk, Marharyta Makhneva.

Singer, composer, showman and TV host German Titov even posted a short video of Stas Mikhailov“s performance in his Instagram .

The business circle was presented at the reception by Russian billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev.

Judging by the photo on Instagram, head of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association, owner of the duty free shops Alena Skrypel also attended the event. She was captured in the photo together with the famous TV presenter Sviatlana Barouskaya and outstanding Belarusian choreographer, People’s Artist of Belarus and the USSR Valentin Elizariev.
