Makei: We Received Documents Offering ‘Deeper Integration’ From Russia

The MFA did not specify Russia’s offers though.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Uladzimir Makei said this as he visited the memorial complex “Khatyn”, tut.by writes.

- In the course of the meetings of our state leaders, various issues connected with our relations were discussed, the corresponding materials have been passed, and the Belarusian side is now working on these documents, - Makei clarified.

The MFA did not specify Russia’s offers though.

- These are offers related to the deepening of integration, - Uladzimir Makeu said.

Yesterday, the Russian MFA publicly announced for the first time that “the Russian side has prepared certain constructive offers, which were passed to the Belarusian colleagues”, and they refer to the realization of the provisions of the Agreement on formation of the “union state”, that is, “closer integration”.
