Belarusian Universities Raise Tuition Fees

The most expensive university is the BSU.

Some Belarusian higher educational establishments placed on their websites the tuition prices in the 2019/2020 academic year. Among them are the Belarusian National Technical University, the Belarusian State Economic University, the Academy of State Administration under the aegis of the President, and the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maksim Tank, reports Belsat.

Thus, in the BNTU, the cost of training in the first year varies, depending on the specialty, from BYN 3,380 to BYN 3,605 per year. There is no information about the rates for senior students on the university website. In the BSEU, regardless of the specialty, freshmen will have to pay BYN 2,564, second-fourth year students - BYN 2,463, fifth-year students - BYN 1,092 per academic year.

At the Academy of State Administration, the price is one for all students - BYN 3,200.

In the BSPU, on the specialties involving the studies of a foreign language, payment varies from BYN 1,966 for the final year to BYN 2,666 for the first. The most expensive education will be for first-year students who will choose the specialty “musical art, rhythmics and choreography”, “musical art and world artistic culture” - BYN 2,800.

The documents of the applicants will be accepted from 12 to 17 July, from November 15 to December 5 - to the extramural form of education at higher educational establishments of agricultural profile. The acceptance of documents from citizens who decide to go for paid education and will not pass the entrance exams directly at the universities will be conducted from July 12 to August 4.

Graduates of specialized educational classes who chose the relevant specialties can apply from July 12 to July 14. Internal entrance examinations to universities in Belarus will be held from 18 to 26 July, from 6 to 15 December - in higher educational establishments of agricultural profile.

The terms of enrollment for the budget education - till July 28 (with the exception of military institutions of higher education), on a fee basis - till August 6.
