The Whole Country Wants His Dismissal

The Whole Country Wants His Dismissal

It's high time to retire.

Activists of the civil campaign "European Belarus" have been picketing to collect signatures. Activists meet with people not only in Minsk but also in Babruisk, Mozyr, Svetlahorsk and the Svetlahorsk district, Brest and Slonim. People take an active part in pickets, express their civic position and talk about their problems. The activist of European Belarus from Brest, Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, told how a taxi driver gave a free lift for activists with white-red-white flags. Journalist Iryna Khalip, who also takes part in the political campaign, described in her article "Beeman Viktar and Falsifications," how the honey seller defended the national symbols with her.

Here are the most vivid comments:

"The Autumn of the Patriarch?"

"Yermoshyna must be tried".

"Hut on chicken legs with barred windows is waiting for Baba-Yaga Yermoshyna. This will be the punishment for mass election fraud and Lukashenka's appointment".

"But the slogan is a winning one. The whole country stands for the impeachment of Lukashenka.

"It's high time for Lukashenka to retire! They all got too tired and tired!"

"I'm not satisfied with this crap, who is in power and stamps "decrees" and "orders" to stay at the trough".

"Thank you for a ray of light in the dark kingdom!!!"

"Hello, friends!

I took part in one of the pickets.

It was cute to see "dudes", as it was decades ago. But there was only one difference. Now they are constantly talking on mobile phones. All the other things are the same: their age, their constitution, the most ordinary appearance, a package in their hands and their cop expression, short haircut (comrades from the notorious committee, let your agents, put on glasses and have their hair longer:-))

And when you intentionally block the view, they are trying to find a better place and keep talking on the phone. How it's moving! My law enforcers protect me:-))".

"Children already see lawlessness in the country. What is it???"

"Belarusians will wait for a better life, but it will be a struggle," readers of Charter97.org write.
