The exhibition is timed to the 80th anniversary of the famous Belarusian artist.

New works of artist Ales Marachkin are dedicated to the significant events of recent years, which took place during the reign of Aliaksander Lukashenka, and reflect the social and political situation in Belarus through the critical view of the creator, the website of the Belsat TV channel writes.

In Minsk, an exhibition "Eclipse" by Belarusian artist Ales Marachkin was opened at the educational platform "Territory of Rights". The name of the exhibition is associated with the last 25 years of Belarus' existence under authoritarianism, and the event itself is timed to the 80th anniversary of the famous Belarusian artist, which he will celebrate soon.

Friends and colleagues, human rights activists, public activists and simply admirers of his work came to the opening of the exhibition of Ales Mara (Marachkin's creative pseudonym). The event was opened by Ales Bialiatski, chairman of the HRC Viasna.

The exhibition is organized with the help of the Human Rights Center "Viasna" and is exhibited at the educational platform "Territory of Rights" for the first time. You can see Ales Marachkin's works at 16 Lazhynskaya Street during the next month.
