BSU Students Distributed Protective Masks And Called On Not Coming To Study

The People's Quarantine is in effect since March 23.

Students, living in hostels in Kastrychnitskaya Street in Minsk, received protective masks and were told about the national quarantine. The symbolic campaign was held by students of the Belarusian State University - activists of the European Belarus civil campaign and the European Youth initiative, the press service of European Belarus informs.

- About fifty masks have been distributed, - one of the participants says. - The event was not so much practical as a symbolic one. We wanted to show that there are serious problems with epidemiological security in Belarus, and the authorities do nothing to solve them.

Undoubtedly, we should introduce quarantine now to stop the spread of the virus and not to threaten people. We are in solidarity with the students of the MSLU, who have announced about the boycott of classes. I am sure that all students in Belarus should do so.

The safety of our loved ones and solidarity should come first.
