In Belarus, 1486 cases of coronavirus have been recorded since the outbreak, and 139 people have recovered. 16 people with coronavirus have died, the Ministry of Health reports.

"There are 1331 people on hospital treatment. After the treatment 139 people have recovered. 16 people with coronavirus have died," the Ministry of Health said in its report.

The day before it was reported about 1066 detected cases of coronavirus infection. Thus, the increase for the day was 420 people - a record since the outbreak.

The official portal on the situation with coronavirus in Belarus indicates the regions with the highest number of cases of infection.

In Minsk, 699 people with coronavirus have been hospitalized, 102 have recovered and 6 have died.

In Vitsebsk region, 364 people with coronavirus - hospitalized, 35 - recovered, 7 - died.

In Minsk region, 153 people - hospitalized, 1 - recovered, 3 - died.

In Homel region, 35 people - hospitalized, 1 - recovered.

In Mahiliou region, 35 people - hospitalized (local authorities report 41 infected - TUT.BY note) with coronavirus.

In Hrodna region, 28 people - hospitalized.

In Brest region, 17 people - hospitalized.

Specialists believe that these figures are seriously underestimated.

It should be noted that Belarus has not yet introduced quarantine measures. Mass sports and cultural events are held.

Independent media and bloggers note that there are many more cases of infection and death from coronavirus in Belarus than the Ministry of Health informs us about.
