What Does Crossing the Belarusian-Polish Border Look Like Now?

The Belarusian border services are trying to rewrite all available data and, if possible, send them for a thorough search.

How returning home during the coronavirus and restrictions on leaving the country every six months look like, Belarusian Yury told Radio Racyja:

- They scanned, made a copy of the employment contract, Polish documents, the so-called residence card.

I asked: "Why do you need this?" They answered: "We are fulfilling the order." I think that an ordinary employee understands that there is nothing good in this, but he is forced to follow the management's instructions.

According to Yury, sometimes, on the Belarusian-Polish border, border service officers demand translation of documents and explanations, and sometimes they do not ask anything at all.
