The Belarusians of Warsaw Are In Favor Of Breaking the Contract of the Norwegian Company Yara with Belaruskali

The main shareholder of the company is the Norwegian government.

In August, 6,500 employees of Belaruskali signed popular demands. Since then, repression against workers has expanded. Six of them came under criminal prosecution, 30 fled the country. More than 120 people who supported the strike were dismissed. One of them was sentenced to 3 years in prison, Radio Racyja reports.

- At the same time, the large Norwegian company Yara continues to cooperate with the illegitimate government and sponsor the torture of Belarusians. The main shareholder of the company is the government of Norway, therefore, pressure should be exerted on the state authorities so that they refuse to cooperate, - said the organizer of the picketing Lena Kopach.

The protest in Warsaw will last all week, from April 19 to April 23, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Norwegian consulate building. It is also planned to collect signatures for the petition on the spot.
