AFU Liquidate Russian Boxing Champion

Stanislav Lukin, a 19-year-old master of sports in boxing and winner of the 2023 All-Russian competitions, was liquidated by the AFU on the Kharkiv direction. The native of Stary Oskol (Belgorod region) volunteered in early February to "help his mobilised father", writes obozrevatel.com.

On March 17, the boxer, who was a repeated winner and prize-winner at all-Russian and regional tournaments, was seriously wounded. He spent 11 days in a coma and died of a head injury without regaining consciousness on March 28.

According to Russian Telegram feeds, he had his face "sewn up after the shrapnel" before the funeral.

We note that Lukin was awarded for services with the Stary Oskol mayor's prize in 2023.
