Belarusian Cement Plants Operate At Loss Again

The combined losses of the three plants turned out to be 2 times more than in 2022.

Belarusian cement plants showed net losses at the end of 2023, writes euroradio.fm.

Two out of three companies managed to increase revenue - Krychaucementnashyfer increased by 9.3%, while Krasnaselskstroymateryjaly - by 5.6%. The third company, Belarusian Cement Plant, saw its revenue fall by 2.9%. But in the end, all three plants made net losses. Moreover, compared to 2022, the losses of Krychaucementnashyfer increased almost fourfold and amounted to Br120.65 million, while of Krasnaselskstroymateryjaly - twice (Br55.1 million). "Belarusian Cement Plant" reduced its net loss by 16% to Br34.36 million. The total losses of the three plants amounted to almost Br210.1 million. This is 2 times more than in 2022.
