Reservoirs Of Refinery Destroyed By Drones In Krasnodar Territory Were Protected By ‘Braziers’

It didn’t help though.

Russian occupiers have begun protecting their oil refineries from drone strikes. The enemy lines fuel tanks with nets known as “braziers.”

However, the attack on the Slavyansk-EKO oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory showed that such structures did not help the invaders. Advisor to the Mariupol mayor Petro Andryushchenko reported this on Telegram.

According to him, the Russians began installing protective nets on fuel tanks in mid-March. At the same time, resistance movement activists were able to take photos and describe the design of the nets. Thanks to this, the drones still managed to hit the objects.

In addition, in April, near the reservoirs, the occupiers installed mobile electronic warfare systems of the Groza-S type. However, this also did not help the invaders avoid an attack on the oil refinery.

The Slavyansk-ECO refinery is located in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation. The enterprise processes about 4 million tons of products per year.

It was previously reported that the explosions in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation on the night of April 27 were the result of an operation by the Security Service of Ukraine. Drones launched by special forces hit two oil refineries in the region — Ilsky and Slavyansky.
