Putin Orders To Conduct Exercises To Use Nuclear Weapons

Allegedly in response to "threats from the West".

The Russian Defence Ministry said it would hold exercises on the use of tactical nuclear weapons "in the near future" on Putin's orders.

This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry on Telegram.

The Russian military said that during the exercise a set of measures will be carried out to work out in practice the issues of preparing and using non-strategic nuclear weapons.

The Russian military also said that the exercises are allegedly needed to respond "to provocative statements and threats by certain Western officials against the Russian Federation".
