To date, the initiative groups of Kabanau, Kisliak and Makarevich have been registered. Next week, the district election commission will consider the documents of Maroz. Kabanau's initiative group includes 57 people, Kisliak's and Makarevich's - 72 each, Maroz' - 73.

Kabanau said BelaPAN that the activists are waiting for the registration of Maroz' initiative group, and then they will hold single pickets for all four activists.

"We want them to be massive, memorable pickets. And now we are conducting technical preparations for them," - Kabanau said.

It is planned that pickets will be held daily in five or six points of Brest.

One of the leaders of the public campaign against the construction of the plant Dzmitry Bekaliuk is sure that people will sign for their representatives.

I do not doubt the common sense of the inhabitants of the region, because the situation with the battery factory is constantly reported by local bloggers and independent media, - he said. - The participation of our activists in the parliamentary campaign is another step towards closing the plant.

After the meeting at the square, which lasted until about 12:40, the opponents of the plant construction walked along the central streets of Brest - Pushkin and Savetskaya - to the Cinema "Belarus".
