Analysts: Russia Will Run Out Of Old Tanks And Combat Vehicles By Mid-2025

The Russian Ministry of Defense is hiding the losses of the occupation forces.

Russia is using old equipment to wage war against Ukraine. But by mid-2025 there may be no old tanks and combat vehicles left in Russian warehouses.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to Forbes.

As noted, the Kremlin is making up for the losses of the Russian army in Ukraine by reactivating old stocks of equipment. These are combat vehicles from the 1970s, and in some cases even from the 60s or 50s.

The publication adds that this technique is a limited resource and cannot be replaced by new production.

Estonian military officer and analyst Artur Rehi believes that by mid-2025 there will be no old tanks and combat vehicles left in Russian warehouses. According to the analyst, Russia's time is running out.

At the same time, the publication notes that the Russian army still relies on the massive number of troops, despite the fact that it is suffering losses.

American General Christopher Cavoli emphasized that the Russian army is now actually 15% larger than at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to him, over the past year Russia has increased the number of its troops on the front line from 360 to 470 thousand.

Losses of Russian troops

The Russian Ministry of Defense is hiding the losses of the occupation forces in Ukraine. At the same time, the Putin regime constantly lies about the losses of Ukrainian forces.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Russia has already lost more than 450 thousand soldiers in the war. In the last 24 hours alone, Ukrainian soldiers killed 840 Russians.

British intelligence reported that Russia was recruiting about 30 thousand new soldiers into the army every month. This allows it to continue waging a war of conquest against Ukraine.

At the same time, Russian opposition media stated that with the start of the Russian offensive at the front, the losses of the occupation forces increased significantly.
